This was an easy to read and interestingly illustrated novel. I enjoyed the format and letters as plot.

Unfortunately, I discovered my copy was missing 4 pages. Selling a book with missing pages should be illegal.
reflective relaxing medium-paced

Art work is very nice and gave a good timeline and creative story telling of Vincent's life

Vincent ♥ that was really cute graphic novel about Vincent and his life with real letters by him and Theo.

An interesting way of showing an ill but brilliant mind in such a way we feel we understand, maybe not completey, but enough. The simple and clear art style managed to show a lot of subtle tones of human psyche without making it grotesque. There is no way you can put this book down until you've finished it.
emotional inspiring medium-paced

This is a wonderfully illustrated graphic novel about the live of Vincent van Gogh. It was beautiful! Van Gogh is my favorite painter and I loved getting a closer look at what he went through.

In 'Vincent' Barbara Stok tells the story of the time Vincent van Gogh spent in the south of France. She translates his calling and passion for art very clearly, as well as his hardships and struggles with his mental health.
A very easy and quick read, though at times also a sad one.
