And by the way Aya is way cuter than bland suiren

This installment really focuses on the communication between Suiren and Kawasumi. Although they are getting closer there is still a distance as both are too shy to communicate their feelings and wants clearly. That said we do get to see their interactions from both Suiren and Kawasumi’s viewpoints as there is a chapter dedicated to each of them. It was interesting to read the interactions from both sides to get to know the characters better and to see just how much they’re trying to establish a stable relationship.
The stories in this volume are pretty simple, from meeting and walking home after school together to the school festival. There’s not much conflict or interactions with any of the other characters. So I’m kind of curious why Ryousuke is on the cover of this volume since he’s the least seen character. The volume is very fluffy and heartwarming and there is a lot of blushing.
It was quite an easy read and the pictures are as usual simple yet descriptive enough to understand the story and feelings of the characters. There is very limited dialogue in this volume given it was focused mainly on our two shy main characters. Unlike in the first two volumes, there seems to be someone popular possibly going after Suiren in the next installment. It’ll be interesting to see how Suiren and Kawasumi navigate their relationship and feelings for each other in this new situation.
