This book could be written about me: a little girl has a favourite book that she always borrows from the library. But when everyone starts reading her library book, it quickly becomes tatty and worn - and the library discards it! How will Lucy ever read her favourite book again?
This is 11 year old me's life with my childhood favourite [b:Someone Like Me|283357|Someone Like Me|Elaine Forrestal|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1173404051s/283357.jpg|274888]. Prior perfectly captures the love and attachment children can have with a much loved book.

This is such a charming book that really shows that so many people like reading for different reasons and why one person may love the book in one way another person loves it in another. It’s really nice to see a picture book show that it’s great to love reading as a kid.
As a child I borrowed books by a certain author so many times that the books got worn out and the library sold them to me.
