Not a single boring volume so far shit's amazing
I love that we got to see Obanai's backstory at last. He was the only one I didn't have an opinion on just yet, and that was fixed. Muzan is pathetic lmao. The desperation oozing from him against the determination of the Hashiras is sight to see. I was ready to kill that man when he sliced up the cat. Tamayo's medicine goddamn. And Nezuko... wow hits the feels. I'm so glad all the main characters are taking damage that actively hinder their fighting abilities. I wish there would be more survivors with missing limbs or eyes or something (like Tengen) instead of being killed off (like Muichiro). Just one more volume left, very excited.

a thriller of a volume. vol. 22 of demon slayer is packed w/ brutal action, new reveals in almost every chapter, and some important backstory esp obanai's, while managing to be emotional at certain moments as well.
some of the paneling continues to annoy me, however, and i find muzan to be a flat + boring antagonist both in terms of characterization and fighting style.
it's quite a thrilling volume nevertheless, w/ the demon slayer corps fighting w/ desperation, showing that it's rly a team effort to take down one many-tentacle fatherfvcker (tamayo's def the mvp). and though there's no significant casualties - particularly of obamitsu that i was dreading - i know it's gonna be a ride from here, even if i cant believe there's only one volume left omggg.
