Always fun to witness Miss Marple in action. Since it's a short story, I could read it over pretty quickly after my initial shock at the ending lol

I guessed the how but not the who or why.
An interesting mystery expertly deduced by Miss Marple.

Agatha Christie once said that Miss Marple was the ideal detective for short stories. Her stories are character studies in miniature. This is one of the Tuesday Night Club mysteries. These were the first Christie stories I ever read, and I love them to this day. Christie was particularly skilled in murder with poisons, and this is a great example. Dolly Bantry appears, as well.
