“A challenge is something you stop wanting once you acquire it. I can’t know if you’re a challenge yet until I make you mine.”
I have a bad habit of attempting to predict character's next and final moves, throughout this book I was kinda waiting for Malcolm to find out and reveal that he already knew. I still think this might happen but I couldn't really predict Malcolm's reaction to much else. It was refreshing to have a manwhore millionaire that isn't afraid of his feelings.
Spoiler Malcolm realised how he felt towards Rachel and chased her even though he was a die-hard manwhore.

“I'd say people respond to me on four levels and four levels only: they want to pray to me, be me, do me or kill me.”

I didn't even bother reading the blurb on this one before diving in, Katy Evans is a sure fire after the genius that was Remington Tate, I also knew because of Remy that this wouldn't just be a shallow playboy romance, the characters all had their reasons for their actions and Rachel and Malcolm were really great together.

“My expose'…what will I expose now? I came in to discover and unmask a legend, but what I found is now lying sweaty and sated in my arms, flesh and blood, imperfect and irresistible. And this-with him, here- is the first real spot I've ever been in my life where I wanted to stand still.”

I also didn't know it was a cliffhanger. And a massive one at that! I'm kinda getting desperate for Manwhore+1 now though...

kind of...liked it? It was like reading FSOG but with more..."safe", "sane" characters without the BSDM of course...

I really enjoyed this. There were some disappointing things at the end though. I wasn’t expecting for us to actually be able to read her article at the end and then it was very short and lackluster. It either needed to be a lot longer or entirely omitted in my opinion. And then this ends on a cliffhanger!! Urgh

I'm so so so disappointed with this book. What's with all the ratings? First off when I started it I had no idea it was a cliffy. No wonder it was a loose plot with a solid beginning and an ending and a whole lot of nothing in between. Felt like thousands of pages and I kept expecting things to move on from them spending time together, sex scenes. We didn't even have wit and humour to move things along. The h got on my last nerve, she would state something and then within minutes she'd cave. So why play games? I could write an essay on this book, from it's lack of depth in characters and plot to the logic stumbles it has. Like him making a bet with his friends that she'll sleep with him when minutes before she'd already stated she'd hooked up with him. This only got interesting when her deception was exposed right at the very end, hence the cliffy as there needs to be another book to get to that.
