About the same as "A New Hope." The prose is silted and way more verbose than is necessary. Though it was fun to see proof that the famous "I love you" "I know" lines were improvised. These books are based on the script, and Han Solo did not say "I know" in the book. Anyway, just watch the movie. It's way more entertaining than the book.
