As of my reading this book is rated about 4.7 stars on Goodreads. While I read the whole book & didn’t hate it, I don’t think it’s a 5 star book. This installment lacked some of the “fun” of the first two books. The characters understandably got more serious but I missed the quirky fun. This was still very much not P.C. but the author did make an attempt to remedy that to some extent. Though I think if this book ever gets a larger audiences attention there will be people outraged upon reading it. Also, I still don’t think in a situation like this there would be 100s of 1000s of zombies outdoors. Sick people go to hospitals or stay in bed. Sure, maybe one zombie outdoors would bite whoever it sees making more but I don’t think it would lead to hordes. Anyway, I finished the series. People really into zombie fiction & not easily offended would enjoy it I think. Snowflakes stay away.

This, book 3, is a wonderful conclusion to an extremely awesome series. I was sad because it is the last so I actually made myself drag it out so it would take me longer to finish then I was so excited, happy, thrilled ( you get the general idea right) to find an author's note written just for me (lol) that there is a new series about the same time period which will be from a different view point. Super bonus fact for me is that the series will be aligned with one of my favorite characters. I highly recommend this and hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

A solid zombie tale
A damn good read. The tough guys are super tough and the bad guys are super bad, and certain liberties are taken with world politics, but that's really no bad thing. This book never for one second pretends to be anything but an action movie in book form and that's no bad thing.
If you like action, give it a try. If you like zombie stuff, give it a try. If you like action and zombies, them you're in for a treat.
