this is an unfinished play, but honestly it could‘ve been complete (if very short) from all i gathered. i was pretty bored at the monologues and really wanted to strangle simone. then i was also confused quite a bit. the ending was kind of cool though, if we‘re being honest, a bit like a horror play? i feel like wilde‘s contemporary english aristocracy plays with contradictory statements are just more my cup of tea than his historical ones…

This play is a mess, an enjoyable mess but a mess nevertheless. You can tell that Oscar Wild never got time to finish it, if he had I think it would have been better. But he was a very talented writer so it's quite enjoyable, but it lacks the finesse and awesomeness he's other work has

To be honest I skimmed this and skipped over the beginning - this was hilarious and so messed up in so many ways

In the form I've got it it's too incomplete to judge properly. I think it would have made a good tale had it ever been finished.

it is most sad that it took the attention and affection of another (Guido) to rekindle Simone’s own love and adoration for Bianca

This play's premise is hysterical. Bianca (married to Simone) is miserable in her marriage because Simone treats her poorly; enter Guido (yes, same name as in the Duchess of Padua, the only Italian name to exist according to Wilde maybe) who just straight up starts flirting with Bianca in front of Simone and Bianca loves it. Naturally, Guido and Simone end up dueling except it does not at all turn out the way you expect. In fact, it derails. I can't stop laughing at the sheer ridiculousness. This reads as a complete play but for the sake of everyone, I think we are just categorizing this as incomplete because wtf?

This play is - apparently- also unfinished, however, the weird (great?) thing about this one is that it reads like a complete play. If I didn’t already know it was unfinished, I would never have been able to tell.
