I thought this story might go a different way with the way Tapped Out ended, but I really enjoyed the flow of this and loved seeing Tristan get his HEA and his adorable daughter was a delight. Charlie was the exact kinda girl I hoped Tristan would end up with

Tender Loving

Another fantastic Fighting Novel. I love continuously reading about the Fighting crew. This one is a great story of caring deeply for another human not matter what. Story of redeeming love. That twist!? What!!??

Oh, Tristan... I love you.
I just want to cuddle with him on the couch while watching Disney movies with his girls. He’s such a good daddy. I adore him!

This one will pull at your heartstrings from the get-go … or it’ll anger, or both. The female lead is so incredibly broken, but doing her best and so strong (though she doesn’t think so). And of course he’s patient and perfect … well, nearly.

Broken heroine.
Male lead who has been burned a time or 2—leads to misunderstandings.
Inexperienced female lead with …
… a very dark past.
Mystery.
F!ghting of course.
Fresh start vibes.
Found family.
Major scandal.

I did predict every little step of this read from the first chapter—however that made it no less fun. I recommend this book and all the others in this world. Can’t wait to read on in the series.

4 stars.

I'm so so glad this book ended the way that it did. had a feeling things weren't adding up. My heart broke for everything that Charlie went through. And Tristan- that man has a heart of gold, even as a kid he was a supportive friend and a great big brother. He was such an amazing father to Lexi and the way that he handled Charlie with such care in the beginning, and allowed her time to open up and heal was beautiful. I didn't realize going in that this
would be such a heavy book. It tackled domestic and verbal abuse and death of a child.

Daddy Tristan

Is it possible to swoon any harder for Tristan?! I mean i already swooned HARD when he was ready to raise Bella’s baby as his own but Tristan as a real daddy?! I fell in love with this man. Charlie was perfect for him and I’m sorry but my jaw is still on the floor at that plot twist at the end! I knew something big would happen but ummm no not expecting that one!!!

I am hooked on this series. When I started the book I wasn't sure how much time I had to read it but I wanted to get an idea of what I was starting. Then I read a paragraph, a page, a chapter, and pretty soon I was 1/2 way through the book and wondering when I could get back to it. There were times I found myself sneaking away to read a few more pages, finish a chapter, or just read a couple paragraphs. Tristan and Charlie are characters that I was invested in. They were characters I needed to know would be okay and together.

While Tristan and Charlie are wonderful the secondary characters were equally enthralling. Each had their own story to tell, each were there without question for their friends/family, and each were realistic. I'm excited to go and read the rest of this series, find out who these characters really are and how they play into the story.

Tristan and Charlie are both characters with rough pasts. Tristan has been burned by past girlfriends but wants to picket fence, 2.5 kids, and a loving wife. Charlie is running from her past and it haunts her. Immediately upon their meeting each other I could feel the attraction, hear the sizzle, and see the sparks. They are meant to be but can they both, especially Charlie, trust again?

Clinched is a hot, steamy, romantic, loving, and real story. I recommend picking up your copy.

Clinched is book two in the Fighting Love series. It's a single dad, second chance romance with some trigger warnings.

I absolutely loved Tristian and Charlie's story. These two were truly meant to be. You could feel their connection flying off the pages. It's heartfelt and full of emotion. You have haunting moments, loss, pain and trauma. But you also get a bit of humor, so much love, adorable daddy/daughter moments and healing for both characters. I loved this story and cannot wait for Mason's book next.

Gideon Frost and Marina Barrett really brought these characters and this story to life.

I was so excited to read about Tristan since I enjoyed his parents story when he was younger. His parents did an awesome job with him!! He was a single dad and his life revolves around his young 5 year old daughter and his best friend Mason and the gym that he owned. He didn’t have a revolving door of women. He always put everyone else’s needs before his. Then he met Charlie.

When Tristan met the gorgeous brunette at the club he didn’t know exactly how to react towards her. He was attracted to her but didn’t know much about her. But then Mason gave him that push and he pursued her. Charlie was full of sadness. She was running from a husband that abused her physically and mentally; he was the worse. She also was grieving the loss of her 3 year old little girl.

When Lexi, Tristan’s daughter, sees Charlie for the first time at the coffee shop she’s quickly attached to her and that gives Tristan more clarity on what he should do. It wasn’t easy for their relationship to be built. There was lots of miscommunications and misunderstandings between these two but it was cute. When they finally caught on to each other’s feelings Tristan took his time with her. As time passed things got better and better. There were some very sad moments and some very terrifying moments along with moments that will completely piss you off. Tristan is every woman alpha dream guy. He was close to perfect and wanted what his parents have. Charlie was hesitant but followed her heart.

The last couple chapters were not what I was expecting but I kind of had an idea because of some of Charlie’s flashbacks. The epilogue was the most adorable one I’ve ever read. Especially with the things Lexi says about “fishing”, lol.

I can’t WAIT for Mason story, lol. I loved him and his antics are funny but he was extremely good to Tristan and Lexi. True definition of a best friend/brother.
