I think I read most pages twice and couldn’t make head nor tails of it

Maybe this just wasn't for me. The multi POV is interesting but didn't work for me. The characters fell flat for me and I just couldn't really connect with it. I found the end to feel pretty unsatisfying.
I do believe it can be a good read though if it's more in line with your tastes! The writing is done really well.

Intriguing, a bit different. I enjoyed getting my head around the fact that each chapter was a different approach and different character as well as connecting some of the dots .. but I didn't really connect with the characters or the topic.

Loved the book. Started reading it for a murder mystery, the book was completely different from what I imagined though. It was about grief of people who were impacted by the death of a girl. And there is another crime in the book. There is no resolution to either of the crimes though. It had everything I loved - grey characters, guilt, faulty memories etc. Only wished it was longer and gave us more glimpse into certain characters.
Moderate: Cancer and Grief
Minor: Ableism, Death, and Death of parent

A deeply dark tale of a crime and it's ramifications over the years.

Lemon took me 2 weeks to read when it should have taken me 2 hours, which should tell you my thoughts. The book details the aftermath of a teenager Hae-on’s murder told from the perspective of a few different people from Hae-on’s circle. Usually I enjoy alternating POVs, but the issue with Lemon is that every character is written the same way, so without contextual clues it’s impossible to figure out who is talking. I found I was waiting for something, anything of note to happen but unfortunately it wound up being a whole load of nothing in terms of plot, and the characters weren’t nearly interesting enough to carry the book on their own.
