I love the Diva series. There were a lot of plots going on in this one and it kept me guessing the culprit until the end. I don't know why Mars is with Natasha as she throws herself at every male, but maybe she can tell he's not all in because he still has feelings for Sophie. I'd like to see this get resolved.

Another highly entertaining book - great listening while doing something mindless, like housework. I love the narrator for this series - her voice is just right, always sounding as though she’s holding back some humor. She shifts for the male voices, but doesn’t make them ridiculous.

On to the next!

The Domestic Diva is by far my favorite cozy mystery series. I really like the characters, especially Sophie, Nina, Humphrey, and Francis, but I even kind of like the ones that aren't very likeable, such as Natasha.

This one has Nina planning a fundraiser for a pet rescue, and of course Sophie is going to help. But I like that it really is mostly Nina's thing, and Sophie is just helping not taking over as sometimes happens in books, where the MC has to be the center at all times. This book also introduces Alex, who is Sophie's new romantic interest after Wolf.

The mystery is good, and the story moves nicely. Definitely would recommend!

This is the 7th in this great series. In this one we meet some new characters- Martha, Buddy,Nick and Alex and each one add their own self to the story. I finished wanting to bake some cupcakes

This wasn't my favorite in the series but there were parts that I really enjoyed a lot. One of my favorite parts of this series is that Sophie never acts like she's a detective, in fact she frequently is telling people that she's NOT an investigator, NO she will not take your case, PLEASE let her do her real job, but then ends up falling into the murder case by accident. That feels so much more real and is one reason I like Sophie so much. I thought this book had a cute premise but wasn't as exciting or juicy as the previous books. I did quite enjoy the new potential beau for Sophie, that was a lot of fun, especially since he seems like he would be more fun than Wolf was. This story also had minimal Natasha interactions so that was kind of a nice change of pace! I look forward to reading more in the series!

I've been enjoying this series, but I have to say this was not my favorite book. It had all the hallmarks that readers have come to expect from the author at this point in the series - well-developed characters, humor, solid plot, and an entertaining mystery. That said, in this book, I found the email secondary characters introduced to be pitted against one another for petty reasons that made them look unnecessarily jealous and silly. In addition, while I enjoyed the mystery, the culprit(s) was not unexpected. I'm looking forward to reading more in the series in the near future.
