This book got me back to feeling like in Truthwitch and I loved that. It also made me want to read the book with my eyes to get all details I missed with the audio. 

Aeduan and Iseult are my favorite characters of this series. I feel like this was the most action packed novel of the series and I wish I could have gotten even more chapters of iseult and aeduan. I liked Meriks plot line with Esme. But I agree with other readers there is soooo much information that it’s hard to realize when something big is revealed because I’m trying to remember who’s who but it’s also going so fast. This was my favorite book out of the series. Also found out that the newest book in the series “which light” isn’t coming out until November not next week in March like originally thought. So I’ll be reading some books before picking up shadow witch.

1. Iseult and safi are reunited in Greig estate ( near hastraal estate?). Safi plans to marry Henrik of Cartorra to save her Uncle Eron.
2. Iseult lost her bloodied coin so Aeduan can’t find her but he’s on a mission to. 
3. Merik and Kullen are sleeping in the ice tomb 
4. Vaness and Vivia are together in Lovats after raiders have entered the under city.
5. Unknown about Esme, the Raider King 
6. Stix is dead? After looking into the mirror
7. Ryber is under the mountain with most of the stones that control the magic in the mountain destroyed. 
8. Mathew and Habim have taken over and destroyed the Marstoki empire.
