This book from Cassandra Clare's kickstarter campaign is gorgeous. The illustrations and art work are beautifully detailed. The cover art and dust jacket are as pretty as anything that I own. Obviously, this is not a novel, so I am not rating a story here. I love the pairing of a flower or other botanical with each character from the Shadowhunter novels. It was delivered to me today - December 24, 2024. What a lovely Christmas gift from the Shadowhunter world. I am totally fangirling over this.

Didn’t like the style of picture. Tiny piece on each character though they do provide odd, additional info you won’t find in the book. Eg. Aline Penhallow took up ice carving on Wrangel Island

what a gorgeous book, inside and out. I wish it had better and more informative profiles though and a bunch of family trees. there were also some mistakes, which I am gonna blame on the rushed production.

I love this new edition of this book and it was so much fun revisiting the little details about each character.
one complaint I have is that Ty did not get new illustrations in the same style as Dru and Kit.
I wanted KitTy in the same style....
