very interesting story :) prologue is nothing like the book, not that many zombies in the till near the end, last chapter was a shock to me finding out who b really is and finding out b name and thinking " wow , really" , I recommend this book, it's different than what you think and you find out you have been reading it from a whole different point if view :)

All because of the final plotwist and it was pleasantly gross.

dnf @ 17%; didn’t exactly lose interest but got a chance to listen to better audiobooks through the library since I was on hold.

Ugh. Stereotypical zombie novels. Where do I begin? With my "Stereotypical Zombie Novel" checklist of course!

-Group of high school students: Check!
-Trapped in the school: Check!
-Thinking someone is okay and then they turn: Check!
-Killing your friends: Check!
-People somehow survive things they should NOT have survived: Check!

Need I say more?

It was ok. Nothing really all that different from any number of other zombie books with the possible exception of a main character that is really hard to like. Intentionally.

It was interesting enough to hold my interest, but not something I would normally read. There are along of trigger points. Racism, child abuse violence and spousal abuse. At least these are the ones I have come across. I have a bind up of the first 3 stories. But I think I'll put it away for now.

This was a decent book, but all the racism from the father kind of made it less enjoyable for me. I can understand B’s struggles as I also grew up with a very racist father, but I never fed into his negative attitude towards those of different races. Nice writing style and once the action started it was a very quick read.
