May have to read this one in another version (or in the original language, perhaps) because the Portuguese translation didn't really do it for me. Ever since, I've been finding glimpses, here and there, of the novel in English and it's much more catching, allowing Kundera's literary voice to come through the way I remembered it from other works.

So... Identity will get a second chance sometime in the future.
