If you like formulaic Hallmark type shows, you might like this. I do not.
Why this female character would want to “win him back,” is beyond me.
I didn’t care to stick around for the conclusion of this story.
Ugh!

This is a perfect, cosy read for a cold Winters night. The author has created a wonderful balance between romance and Christmas cheer.
Drew and Lauren should have been married by now except an unfortunate misunderstanding halted their planned wedding in Hawaii over a year ago, ending their nine year relationship. Lauren relocated to New York after accepting a job from Luke, Drew's brother. Drew was transferred to Tokyo to run the Asia Pacific division of his family's business; JDL Toys.
The impending wedding of Jack Cannon; Drew's father brings everyone together, triggering a string of unexpected events – or are they? Do Drew and Lauren still love each other? Is it possible for them to have to find their HEA?
With a magical Christmassy backdrop the author has created a charming modern day fairytale, with twists and turns. Throw in likable and relatable protagonists, a complementary group of adorable, conniving, but romantic supporting characters and you have a story that will leave you with a warm, fuzzy glow.

This was such a cute Christmas romance! Very hallmark movie-ish and I ate it all up! You will know what is going on before the 2 main characters, but I think it's fun to see the journey they go on while discovering it. Cute romance with a great friend/ family group. A 2nd chance romance set in a magical/fairytale setting.
Absolutely perfect for the holiday season!
