Picked this up because of all the good reviews. It's an excellent resource, good writing, clear photos, and tons of facts. It's also incredibly difficult to read, parts are so brutal and awful. There's also a photo of Till's body mentioned that was published in Jet magazine. That photo appears on page 67, and there wasn't a note in the text telling you that it was coming. It's important that they included it, but you might want to brace yourself before turning the page to see it. If you have anyone asking you for a good Civil Rights research resource, this is an excellent choice.
