In some ways, it's one of my favorite reads of all time. In others, it goes so far in a particular direction that I have a hard time believing pays off. This is the first book in a trilogy, though, so it may pay off in later books?

Regardless, this is the first Philip K. Dick book that I've been able to finish and enjoy.

Also, for fans of Lost, this book is read by one of the characters and was definitely an influence on some of the show's elements.
