Also enjoyable story, but even more pro-cop than the first one. I liked the shifting focus compared to the first book, with Bri now a POV character.

Also a lot of sex, which isn't a problem but it seems the characters only could interact romantically sexually. And the sex was always pretty much the same so it got boring.

This is quickly becoming one of my favorite series. This is the first LGBT series that I've read and I'm so happy to say that I'm smitten with it. The town, the characters, the plot - all of it. I can't find anything about this book that I did not like. Tory and Reese are just spectacular. Their relationship is what dreams are made of , their ups and downs and communication, their desire for each other - just YES. Bri really got to me in this book. I was hurting for her as she kept trying to figure out her life. I cheered for her, was furious with her and just felt her the whole time.
It's really nice to find a f/f series that is so well written and so enjoyable.
Radclyffe nails it.

I enjoyed the story and the narrator did a good job of representing the different characters (there was more than one Maine accent this time around), but I'm not sure I'll continue listening to the series. This is no fault of the author, but angsty butches cause me awful flashbacks. Radclyffe is an excellent writer, and I recommend her books to any fan of lesfic.

One relationship grows, while another one gets tested in the second book in this series.
