It was a delight and a much needed break from my usual diet of horror and fantasy. "The other lady", Marie Dobbs, really captured Austen's use of language and her very astute observations of society. Bathing machines, surprisingly energetic hypochondriacs, a dramatic abduction... highly recommend.

As all other negative reviews of this book go, the unfinished nature of the story impacted me deeply and made it an unpleasant experience.

Keep in mind, however, that I am not really a Jane Austen fan as it stands.

If you’re weary about this particular realm of literature, I would not recommend Sanditon as a place to start. It is most definitely for those who already have an appreciation for Austen’s style of work.

This book was a nothing sandwich. Nothing plot, nothing characters, nothing, nothing, NOTHING. It's lucky it was only 60 pages otherwise I wouldn't have finished it.

Worse, this book is very mean-spirited; it felt like Ms. Austen was sat on her high horse condemning and talking down to a group of people she clearly finds ridiculous.

I'm officially an Austen HATER!! She is going to have to work HARD to redeem herself in my eyes. Watch your fkn back, Pride & Prejudice.......

I wasn't sure what to expect since this is finished by someone else, but I think it turned out well. I liked it a lot.

me estaba gustando mucho esta historia y es una pena muy grande que jane austen nunca haya podido terminarla... aunque algunos luego intentaran completarla nunca sabremos realmente lo que ella tenia en mente para la continuación de esta historia
