It’s a cute, fast paced, royal romance. Eleanor is sick of Royal life and runs off for a month so she can have a true holiday. Enter Sean, MMC, sexy tattoo artist. Both characters are super likable, the 🌶️ scenes are written well. I’m not sure what I felt was missing but I did find myself skimming here and there.

My heart starts to flutter. Sean's hands move over my curves with a reverence I've never felt. Those lips I love so much move over my curves, curves that normally cause me so much pain. But right now? I feel like a sex goddess pulling my man into my siren song.

4 Pink-haired goddess stars!

ROYAL RECKONING was a sweet and steamy story about the effortless love that blooms between Princess Eleanor and tattoo artist Sean when Ellie takes an unsanctioned holiday from her royal duties. Ellie is third in line to the British Crown and is overwhelmed by her endless duties as Princess and the relentless paparazzi who criticize her weight, her appearance, and any other perceived slight misstep--while her brother lives the life of the adored Playboy Prince. Ellie is fed up with the unfair expectations placed upon her shoulders, so she leaves the duties of her royal life for one month and runs right into Sean's arms.

Sean is a successful tattooist who owns his own shop and who happens to be looking for a new receptionist. The chemistry between Ellie and Sean is tangible upon their first meeting, and the more time they spend together, the harder Ellie finds it to leave him behind and return to her palace life. I loved seeing Sean and Ellie/Kat together and how he made her feel more confident about her body after the constant criticism from the press. However, I do wish there had been more drama/angst as that's what I really look forward to in royal romances. Other than Ellie's sudden departure, I felt that their separation was fairly one-dimensional and I just wished there had been a more layered and dramatic fallout. Nevertheless, I enjoyed this story and look forward to Jamie's story next ♡

My Sean, the tattoo artist with a heart of royal gold...

This was a short, enjoyable read. I always enjoy a royal romance. I loved the idea of the princess dyeing her hair pink and going to work at a tattoo parlor.
I enjoyed the romance and look forward to reading more from this author.

Royal Reckoning is a sweet, fun, fast paced royal romance. I don’t usually read royal romances or know much about how royal families work but this book was easy to follow along with and understand the dynamics with the royal family. I loved the idea of Ellie getting time away from her royal family. She surely embraced this life and lived it up. She met Sean who is very swoony. He is a tattoo artist and hires Ellie(Kat). Kat and Sean have a fun relationship. They are also hot and steamy. I listened to the audio for this and it was absolutely perfect. I don’t think I would have enjoyed this as much if it wasn’t for the audio. Will Watt and Charlotte Cole were perfect for the roles. And who doesn’t love listening to an audiobook with an accent!

princess finds her happily ever after

This was such a cute book. When Ellie, a princess, just wants to escape from all the chaos of being royalty. She runs away only to meet a tattoo artist Sean who unexpectedly changed her life forever. I Definitely enjoyed this read and excited to read book 2. Spice was 3/5
