When I got the email from Net Galley today that my request for this book was approved, I literally stopped what I was doing and immediately sat down and read the entire thing. Sarah Adams has quickly become one of my favorite romantic comedy writers. She has an effortless way of blending real life issues into her stories without it seeming disingenuous. When in Rome is no different. Amelia and Noah are flirty, sassy, and so sweet. Sprinkled throughout the novel are wonderful snippets of small town life and the big personalities that inhabit these towns. Mabel is 100% a perfect blend of Babette and Miss Patty for any Gilmore Girls fans.

When in Rome releases on September 20, 2022 and I highly recommend pre-ordering this today!

This was so good! I always love a romance between a celebrity and a regular person lol
Loved the sexual tension and chemistry between the main characters and the dilemma they were in about their future. Some of the dialogue was so funny.
This book also reminded me a lot of Part of Your World by Abby Jimenez - similar storyline, great characters, funny and serious at the same time.
I'm a new fan of Sarah Adams now!

I tried reading this book a year ago and couldn't get into it. But I'm so glad I soft dnf'ed it and gave it another chance. This book got me out of a reading slump. Easy to read, lovable characters (love me some Mabel), realistic relationship/life fears and cute small town. Can't wait to jump into the next one. Had me giggling.

3.5 ⭐️ This is the book equivalent of a hallmark movie, which is a good thing in my opinion. Very predictable but also very charming. I’ve been a little hit or miss with this author, but this was a hit for me.
