It's Nency turn and I'm sad to say I didn't enjoy it as much as I have expected. Mostly, because a last-moment realization that he, Sam Nancey, is a jerk, doesn't negate all that happened before. And the worst of it is that I loved Oliver and the fact that he finally had sent Sam away make me really happy, as it did to know that he was ready to get on with his life. Having Oliver take Sam back after all the abuse he put him through was a real disappointment. Sam's change of mind wasn't believable, I'm sorry. I know that the series is 'Never too Late', but, sometimes, it really, really is.
And the case, which usually saves the book for me when the romance doesn't work, was glossed over by all the drama between... everybody, really.
Liam Carlsen did a great job with the narration.
