I love how this story is told in alternating then and now chapters. It felt like I was reading two different books at the same time, each chapter would end on such a cliffhanger but I was so excited to continue with the other story (not sure if that makes sense...). I could see how this style could be confusing for some, but personally I LOVED it. OMG and that ending!! Requiem here I come!

Is this even apart of the same book series??? Its been a few years since I read the first one, but I remember the vibe being soooo different. I really only finished the book because I wanted to see how it ended, and honestly, I don't think I'll even read the last one. Sorry, this book just wasn't for me :/
A different style of story telling than Delirium, but still equally as fun!
There are parts of this that I desperately wish I had written. I think I liked this even better than the first book, Delirium. What an ending, although it feels a bit Hunger Games to me at that point. Maybe a little too much. Not decided. I love Lena so much at this point. Also, I read the Kindle version that including the enhanced features, namely videos from the author and I LOVED it. These little glimpses into her thought process at certain parts in the story were so precious. I just spent a half an hour writing after finishing the book. There's a moment in the end that solidified a little nugget I've had floating around for a while. :)
It was better than the first one because there was more acuion in it. I loved the lovestory between Alex and Lena and I can't stand her being with Julian!

I feel like nothing and everything happened simultaneously in this book. The two timelines were kind of confusing, but I thought both of them were pretty interesting. I don’t really know how I feel about the romance, it wasn’t like offensive, but neither this one nor the one from the first book are actually that good I fear. Just like Lena fell in love with the first man she ever met in book 1, now Julian fell in love with the first girl he ever met. Not exactly a good book, but there’s definitely interesting ideas and I kinda liked it.
