This has been a very entertaining read, albeit a short one. The character of Ninae is very naive, but I guess this is something for her to overcome as she moves forward. The magic system has not been explored in its entirety and it will be interesting to read more about it as more of it will weave itself in the story. Rotgar was so hateable and it was weird that by the end I felt conflicted about him and actually felt for his situation.
I left Borus for the end. This was a character I really wanted to know more about, he was so mysterious but seems very gentle and kind, despite the fact that he has some really dark thoughts.
