Just didn't capture me and decided not to follow through.

The drama. The juicy juicy drama.

I love messy women. Women with skeletons. Making un-womenly decisions. Being bad.

One character gave me Nightcrawler with Jake Gyllenhaal vibes. Another gave me Kathryn Hahn from Step Brothers vibes. They were all struggling in ways you didn’t quite piece together until the end. I devoured the second part of the book because I needed answers.

Very solid all around. I didn't love it quite as much as Big Little Lies but it's in that general area.

this book was wild and dark. definitely check trigger warnings. 4 stars bc the ending wasn’t as wrapped up as i would’ve liked but those last few lines..

Very similar to her other book The Push. Hard to put down. I love any shifting perspective novel. The last two chapters were pretty wild

Whoa. This book was A LOT. I’m not sure if “good” is how I would describe it, but I felt the same way about The Push. I couldn’t look away…

I’m going to need a minute…

Similar to Big Little Lies, follows several upper middle class women and their families through domestic drama and the unfolding of a mysterious fall.

This author has a great talent for writing characters that are so disturbing and yet eerily relatable.
