I liked this graphic novel much better than the original novel because it seemed to be a lot less fat-phobic. Same general idea, but much more universally understanding and accepting of everyone's differences.

It was a beautiful book, though if I hadn't read the original YA book, I don't think the graphic novel would make much sense. I did really like the art style and I though it was good, but I also wish it had a bit more context to the plot too :)
