As someone who didn’t read the Spoken Mage series, this series was hands down amazing.

I seriously didn’t think i’d even make it this far, let alone finish the story. When I began the Crown of Secrets I was actually asking people if it was okay to DNF it, but i’m so so glad I didn’t.

Now I will say a part of me was selfishly happy with the outcome with this book, but also sad it wasn’t much of a struggle. I knew that at the end of the day we’d have a good outcome but I was upset that I got everything I wanted???

Listen I predicted the ending, the marriages and alliances, but I hated that it took me SOOO long to see it. It literally had me clinging on for dear life just to see if characters would stop being so stubborn and see that not everything requires outside approval.

Just like real life.

I don’t give out five stars easily, but hands down. 5/5

This was a Very straightforward, lowkey, clean, not that deep, stress-free series. Interesting magic-system.

Melanie Cellier delivers a very satisfying conclusion to The Hidden Mage series. Lots of action, lots of romance, and the perfect amount of resolution to the ending!

Don’t let the three stars fool you. It was a good read, it’s just with all the other similar themes out there, this one runs middle of the pack.

Well THIS was a satisfying resolution! I enjoyed how Cellier wrapped up details and storylines and addressed relationships from throughout the series.
