Not sure how I feel about this book. It is definitely an uncomfortable premise. The narrator is painfully awkward, and I cringed a lot at things she did/said. The writing wasn't great, and I didn't find there to be much resolution to the plot. But it really made me think.

I liked the idea of this book. The reality was just OK for me. It started out promising. The middle was a bit tedious and the ending was a little unsatisfying. This was supposed to be a suspenseful thriller but really wasn't to me.

I enjoyed the philosophical questions that are (largely ignored but still) present throughout but the restrictions derived from the protagonist's character left the passage through the book slightly underwhelming. Not a happy book, but still worth a read.

Definitely an engaging read, the theme was interesting. Overall the book was not my cup of tea, but it held my interest.

Interesting story and well written. It lags occasional but not enough to put the book down and forget about. Great character development of a sheltered socially awkward woman
