If you're not one for a book comprised of mostly talking, this book is probably not for you. The very beginning sucked me in- it was wonderful, but then it was like the climax (where King Louis and Phillipe are switched) takes place not even half way through! Lame. BUT, it is a classic and must be a classic for a reason...it must be...

Well. That was depressing. I'm not sure what the point of the book was, since nothing aimed for was ever accomplished, and all that happened was a lot of death for nothing and all the innocent people were still imprisoned at the end.
