Cute quick monster romance. Couple had chemistry, spice was ok. Plot was predictable and used the *magic explains everything* trope. I did really enjoy the b-plot family dynamics. Overall, 3.5.
EDIT; I take half a point anytime a book treats glasses as a fashion impediment rather than a medical aid. Maybe she is hotter without them, but she also says she can barely see a foot in front of her without them and that seems more important!

This was a lovely lowstakes, minimal angst story about Minerva (Min) and Ethan.
I liked the worldbuilding around the history of Motham city, a city founded by a Mothman. That gave me a giggle.
The romance is a slowburn, but our couple had enough tension and flirting going on to keep my attention. I enjoyed seeing how Min changed the dynamic in Ethan's household for the better and helped him in regards to his relationship with his younger brother.
