A fun, fast paced and sweet festive story. Nick and Beckett get snowed in together, yet neither are too upset as they enjoy spending the time together.

Making cookies and snowmen, getting to know one another and becoming mates. It's rather instalove, but to be expected with fated mates and short read. Still it was a wonderful light-hearted romance, as they find each other. The presents and visit with Nick's family for christmas was lovely too.

Overall it's an enjoyable and quick read, perfect feel good and comforting vibes. All of the festive feels and lovely winter read, with a happy ending ♥️

Nick and Beckett - sweetness personified.

Alpha Nick is one of a set of triplets and the only one who isn't mated. After a last minute work delivery, he begins his travels to his parent's house - only to be rerouted by a powerful blizzard. Ultimately stuck in his car by the side of the road.

Omega Beckett works at a B&B. While waiting for a guest, who ended up being a no-show, he decides to go home. To his surprise, he finds a man trapped in his car and the snow falling fast.

When Nick is face to face with Beckett, he is hit with the most tantalizing scent and Beckett could not understand the pull towards a man he'd just met. Their whirlwind romance was the absolute cutest. Everything clicking into place - Nick's family, their home, Beckett's bosses ... Not forgetting our fearless feline, Tornado.

**I received this ARC for my honest.**

Short shifter read

I enjoyed this short spicy read. While it moves quickly I don’t mind that in short books. The spice to plot ratio is good in my opinion. This book included shifters, fated mates, mpreg, bonds.

This book is part of the Mated to His Reindeer series and the main characters are human omega Beckett, who works at a small, isolated B&B and lives in a cabin nearby, and alpha reindeer shifter Nick, who lives and works in the city. He leaves to visit his family for the holidays, with a weather forecast of supposedly some light snow flurries, to soon find himself having to stop as the roads get closed due to heavy snowfall. He pulls off into a service area to call his parents to let them know he will be delayed and then calls around for any overnight accommodation nearby. He manages to get a room at the small B&B where Beckett works, but ends up running off the small back road on his way there, due to the worsening conditions. At least Nick could shift into his reindeer side and he wouldn’t free to death, but he might be in more danger from a happy hunter or reveal shifter secrets if he tries to carry some clothes with him! Beckett volunteered to work the holidays since he is single, allowing the other staff to be home with their kids. When his only guest, Nick, doesn’t show up and the storm turns into a blizzard, he figures the guest won’t be coming and since he can’t reach him by phone, he decides to head home, keeping an eye out in case the guest got stuck on the road there. Just by his cabin, he sees what he thinks is an abandoned car, but quickly realise there is a man inside, half frozen. He invites Nick back to his small cabin and tries to warm him up.
Nick can’t believe a sexy stranger rescued him and hadn’t quite realised how bad the storm had gotten, nor how cold he actually was. Beckett has to dig the car door free, before he can even get Nick out, as well as clear the area to his steps and is own front door! Both are attracted to the other, but don’t think the other is attracted to them. They try to hide their feelings, until it becomes impossible. Beckett isn’t used to having guests at his cabin and they have fun trying to make a meal out of his mishmash of ingredients. Nick refuses to take the one and only bedroom from Beckett, already feeling he has put him out enough, so they both have an uncomfortable old recliner to sleep on. If they can that is! Nick’s reindeer knows that Beckett is his mate and wants to jump him straight away, but Nick knows he is human and may know nothing of shifters. They need to take their time and not scare him away, before he can reveal what he really is. He is uncomfortable starting a relationship with his fated mate, before he can tell him what he is. Both his brothers have met their fated mates and have each have twins, which run in the family, although Nick and his brothers are actually triplets! The snow doesn’t let up and Beckett has them both out the next day, clearing a path around the cabin and along the drive with his snowplough attachment on the front of his truck, ready for when the roads are cleared. They have fun with a little bit of a competition, but soon find themselves cold and wet and needing to get warmed up quickly.
Nick is the one who suggests the proper method of warming up Beckett’s hands, and one thing leads to another, as the pair get cosy. Before he allows it to go further, Nick talks to Beckett and finds out his grandfather apparently saw shifters years ago and had told Beckett the stories, but his parents hadn’t believed him. So it isn’t exactly news to him, but seeing it first had certainly is! The pair settle into the first flush of their mating, with Nick letting his family know he is safe and will make it to see them when he can. Beckett now has a whole new family to be part of, as he and Nick find themselves expecting a baby and a whole new future happiness together. Lovely story and some comedic parts with Nick’s reindeer not liking the freezing cold and Beckett’s cat Tornado living up to his name. If fate hadn’t stepped in and changed his route, Nick might never have found his fated mate, having been looking for years already. Lots of fun and romance as the two accept their bond and their future together and Beckett is introduced to a whole new world that had been hiding in plain sight. I received an ARC copy of this book form BookSprout and I have freely given my own opinion of the book above.

Nick, an alpha reindeer shifter, is trapped in his car when a few snow flurries turns into a blizzard. Human omega Beckett rescues Nick and takes him to his nearby cabin. Nick realizes he’s found his mate just in time for Christmas…now he just has to hope Beckett feels what he feels and that Nick’s shifter won’t scare Beckett off. Sweet MM Christmastime shifter romance with a side of heat. Love how all the books in the series feature reindeer shifters. This was such a fun read!

nice palate cleanser

Sweet, easy, no drama or angst and not overwhelmed by a lot of sex. A nice little Christmas story but mostly fluff.

Sweet Story

I love fated mates stories. This was so sweet with them dancing around each other. And the ending was so cute.
