Taggart retired from bull riding to raise his daughter after his wife left them. Felicity came to town to move on from the death of her husband. Both of them are afraid to love again. His eight year old daughter, Becky, plays matchmaker despite Felicity being her teacher. Felicity is surprised by her feeling toward Taggart having lost her husband only two years earlier.
