Not enjoying this one. I’m not the target audience. I figured if anyone could get me into historical romance it would be Emily Rath.

was curious about a historical why choose and was entertained enough, but started to get kind of bored and wasn't feeling any of the relationship and after pausing this book for a month i have realized i have no desire to return to it

I’d forgotten how much I love historical romance. I cut my teeth on Johanna Lindsey and Catherine Coulter back in the day and, let me say, this was so much better.

Rosalie definitely has a bit the after-school-special vibe about her, spouting ideals that are still considered progressive today, but she’s such a plucky little thing that it still reads very well.

All three of our guys are still in the Dumb Boy stage, though they all show promise for the future.

I can’t wait to see how the Duchess reacts and I’m looking forward to seeing what becomes of my favorite Gorgon. ❤️
