Amazing! I can barely wait for more to be released!
The art is always pushing limits and it’s stunning. The story this volume is so fast-paced and wonderfully woven together.
All the side characters flesh out the world and add lots of tension and connection in the story.
The way of witches has long been unraveling and the apprentices of Qifrey’s Atelier are quickening the pace. I absolutely love how this story builds and builds to become the political drama that it is!
Spoiler-filled thoughts:
I’m so glad Qifrey didn’t die! The suspense was so intense. I really hope Atwert can find a way to restore Galga’s memories, I’m glad they are together. The scene with coco deciding to trust Qifrey is AMAZING and one of my favorite moments so far! It’s such an important culmination in the story. I’m so proud of her for developing her voice and finding who to trust.
Oh and I love the bonus chapter with Alaria and Euini! It’s great to check in on them. Shirahama’s way of seeing the world shines through in what Alaria says to Euini and her words mean a lot to me.
