Garbage. Hot garbage. That’s all I have to say. The ending was such bullshit. Neferet barely put up a fight which is crap because she was murdering left and right this whole time, yet barely landed any blows at the end?? Ok. I don’t like to leaves things unfinished so I’m just happy to finally be done with this series.

This was a great book. And the series was very good, though to get to this point of madness with Neferet, they had to go pretty far. I did really like Rephaim's part in Stevie Rae's life.

At first, I thought, that this book series will be my absolute favourite when I finish it. I really enjoyed the writing style and the idea of the story. However, they wrote one part after another and with every book my interest in the characters and their decisions started to lessen. I think this story could have been told in three to five books, since some of these books just were absolutely meaningless to the ending. To be honest, I don't really remeber what happend in the first six books, because the plot went out of the window. I really thought about giving up on the series, but I just kept going, because the books were really expensive and I hoped, that maybe things will change, since the beginning was so awsome.
And what about Heath? Honestly, I was happy he died. I mean, he was nice at the beginning but then he started to become annoying just like the rest.
And Erik's development is the worst of all. He was my favourite and I just didn't understand. It was like Zoey and her friends wanted everyone to think he was this possessive, arrogant guy. For me it was a change that was made from one second to another without a thought, why he ended up like this. Talking of Erik, what was that little fling with Shaylin? And Shaunee? Have they ever talked before they fell in love irrevocably?
Firstly, I thought Erik and Shaylin would end up together and then she got in a relationship with Nicole? They talked for about 2 minutes, then they kissed and all of a sudden Erik's forgotten?
And the last character I didn't understand was Neferet. It was quite a plottwist that she was the villain at the end. However, I really liked her in the first place, even when she got a little crazy, but starting from the tenth book, I think, she was absolutely lunatic. She just wanted all people to worship her and she killed like everyone, who said something she didn't like. At first, she was a great enemy. she was smart and her acts of revenge were comprehensible. From the tenth book on I just disliked her so much.

And not to begin with I was so upset about the whole character development. Zoey seemed to become the girl she never wanted to be. I mean, at least she didn't have three boyfriends at once at the end without knowing which one she wants to choose.And what about Heath? Honestly, I was happy he died. I have finally finished the series(though I still have the 4 novellas to read.). But like I started this series years ago, and only just finished the 12th book. I started to sob at the end because, yeah it caused me some stress from the all the teen anxt, but in the end it was good and just so lovely and I will miss my Zoeybird. Thank you P.C and Kristin Cast for taking me along for that journey. I truly and enjoyed it,and maybe some day I'll be able to come back and read it again.
