I honestly really really enjoyed this book!! It was so much fun but also touched on really sensitive topics that I personally related to which was nice to read about and be heard.

Nico is such a sweetheart and watching his relationship with Elle and Rafael develop and grow into something healthier was really beautiful. I also think watching Rafael grow as a person was really nice to read especially given little to no information about what was going on in his head in Love Redesigned. I also loved reading more about Elle and I found her storyline to be very interesting and I was most definitely rooting for her the whole time!!

Overall this book was really good and definitely a 4.5 ⭐️

⭐️3.5 it wasn’t bad just I found the characters too millennial and cringe. Hated the fact she was a songwriter so I just skipped the bits with her lyrics. Also I know it’s a billionaire series but why is suddenly everyone a billionaire? It was very slow in the beginning but then suddenly they were pretty much engaged? Nearly boaked when he proposed with a rose gold ring. Apart from that I enjoyed it and was an easy holiday book. Maybe I’m just too harsh.

I want to start off by saying that this probably would have been a 5⭐️ read but for some reason I stopped halfway and read Binding 13 in between and honestly this just didn’t match that so I had to go 4⭐️.

When I tell you I sobbed reading this, I’m literally not joking and I have photographic evidence. Both the mc’s have such sad pasts/childhoods. When they started opening up to each other and revealing what life used to be like for them my eyes were a waterfall 😭. Because of this, I would heed CW’s as I can see this book being incredibly triggering for some. The way they both lean on, and accept each other in spite of and because of their pasts is so beautiful I literally am emotional now even thinking about it.

The romance was a slow burn but it made sense for the characters and I didn’t find it too slow. There was a constant note of tension between them for the whole book which was delicious. When the spice comes it's 100% worth the wait. Communication was always great, and it was a very adult relationship. No third act breakup which for me is always a positive too.

Ellie and Nico are my fave duo. Can’t be convinced otherwise. The love between them was beautiful and I loved that element of the story so much.

It has jealousy, pining, childhood crush, found family (kind of), single dad, enemies to friends to lovers, cute kid, tonnes of animals, mh rep, nicknames, and slow burn deliciousness.

Overall this was a heartwarming romance about two people who defied odds. Survived and fought for what they want and found it in each other. This isn't really that lighthearted though as there are some serious themes. So please bear that in mind.

I loved these characters, their real struggles, and complex personalities. This book made me cry and laugh. The built was perfect and I was so proud of who both Rafael and Ellie became.

Boss/Employee Romance, Opposites Attract, 3 1/2 🔥

“I developed this screwed-up mindset at a young age about relationships. That if I became the version of myself that I thought people wanted me to be, then they wouldn’t ever want to leave me.”

“To me, the one is someone willing to do everything in their power to be the person you deserve, not because they are fated to love you but because they choose to.”
