I like that we have a submissive guy, and in a society like in the Regency that if nowadays a man should be alpha back then a man should be masculine and manly.
I also enjoyed the beginning when they were separate and struggling both of them. I would have preferred more angst but less miscommunication

im sorry, but how can you go from having AMAZING dom/sub sex to being cock blocked by your mom in a matter of moments is WILD. again people just need to talk to eachother & have hot sex and most problems will be solved. loved that they turned her moms finishing school into a sex positive/lgbtqia safe haven. i definitely enjoyed the sexy times in this novella more, but a lot of the dirty talk was still very cringe like the other two books.

Of the three in the series, this was my favorite for how angsty the Hero felt and what the Heroine did to show him they were a match.

Really well done. For a novella, she packed a punch!

Thanks to SBTB for the review that got me to pick up this book! An enjoyable short novel that packs a lot of story and emotion in it's pages. While I found some of the explicit language to ring a little false at times (coming from that character/time setting/societal norms), I think the portrayal of differing sexual needs was well-done and written without judgement or prejudice. Having an adorable bookish hero is always a bonus, and I enjoyed that Eliza overcame her jealousy to ask for help in learning how to work with Grayson/Devil's needs.

Read this in less than a day and devoured the other two in the series in another day and a half! Hoping for at least one more story for Charlotte and the ever-present Diaz?

I won’t claim to know much about English society in the early 1800s, but I would’ve appreciated a little more dedication to historical accuracy. Even so, this was quick and I like the series for the most part.
