The only thing that kept this from being a solid 4 stars was the extreme behavior of the murdered sister. A 16 year old doesn't get that way without something behind it, but the book never went there-- the lead characters didn't even stop to wonder.

I kept expecting some sort of revelation (or at least indication, but it never came).

Other than that, I liked the characters (even if I personally would not have enjoyed the company of the leading man), and the mystery/thriller aspect was compelling.

A woman tormented by the memory of her sister's murder writes a fictional book based on the tragic event. But When Bellamy's identity is discovered the past comes back to haunt her. Is the book the full truth or is Bellamy forgetting one small detail?
Sandra Brown has the unique ability to make you fall in love with a character right off the bat. She also has such a way with weaving multiple story lines together to form one story. From the moment I opened the book and was finished with the first chapter I knew it was going to be a good read. This fast paced thriller will leave you at the edge of your seat.

I won't lie and pretend that I read this, because after about 50 pages I had already had enough and knew that it wasn't for me. There was a lot of shouting and anger and lots of hints about the past, but no explanations or development. I didn't like the lead characters and I didn't like the overall style.

I'm definitely not a fan Sandra Brown's most recent novels, despite the fact that some of the older ones such as [b:Envy|76179|Envy|Sandra Brown|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1263146546s/76179.jpg|82614] and [b:The Switch|30399|The Switch|Sandra Brown|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1347748879s/30399.jpg|1465255] etc were some of my all-time favourite books.

 Review:
This was only the 3rd Novel ive read by Sandra so I wasnt sure what to expect since each of her books has a different theme even tho most of them are in the same genre but this one was so fun to read with so many twists and turns it always had me second guessing who the killer.
The Characters were interesting to read about. Bellamy and Dent were definately my favorites especially with the witty banter between them. Reminded me of the TV Show Bones (If you know,  then YOU KNOW).
The Setting was beautifully described which made me feel like I was actually in Georgia while reading especially when the scenery was described.
Overall a Fast paced yet fun Thriller about a Sister who was killed during Tornado Season.
