The writing is extremely immature. Even 12 year old me wouldn’t read this if i had stumbled across it on wattpad.

Beautifully emotional, definitly need to read about one quarter into the book to understand what's happening. Second book would be awesome, although the others from Emily Barr are good reads too. Slightly dissapointing ending, but all ends tied up.

Romance, a ghastly haunting ghost story and a murder mystery all in one book. How could I not speed read through this?

The synopsis follows Joe who is stuck in Groundhog day, the day of his death, reliving this day all over again day after day. Our MC Ariel meets Joe, and is determined to help him get out of this cycle.

This was an exceptional read. Trying to put the puzzle pieces together, connecting the dots between the main characters and trying to figure out who the murderer was, just had my mind spinning and clinging to the pages.

It was frustrating, emotional, thrilling and even the bitter of sweetest romance.

This is my first book by this author, but will be looking for more from this author in the future.

Thank you to Penguin and NetGalley for this ARC.

This is a mystery/romance novel from the globally best selling author of The One Memory of Flora Banks.

My review:
When Ariel meets Joe, she thinks she has finally found the boy of her dreams. He is handsome, charming, and she feels a connection that she has never felt before. After exchanging numbers Ariel messages Joe, but there is just one problem — his number is disconnected. Ariel can’t believe she has been ghosted. When she sees Joe again Ariel is hurt and angry. But to Joe it is as though their first encounter never happened, he can’t remember meeting Ariel. What else can’t he remember?

Ariel meets Joe when she is going through a very difficult time in her life — she is grieving the loss of her mum, when her dad walks out of her life. It is her relationship with Joe that helps Ariel to start building a life without her parents. But little does Joe know he needs Ariel just as much as she needs him. This was my favourite element of the story as I loved finding out how both characters, in a way, manage to bring each other peace.

Both Ariel and Joe’s characters are equally well written, they are definitely my favourite characters in the book. You can’t love one without loving the other, they truly bring out the best in each other. I loved how their romance is unconventional, yet still powerful. There is also an element of mystery to the story which keeps the reading hooked throughout.

Overall, this is a highly emotional romance, between two star-crossed lovers, and a fantastic read. It is perfect for lovers of romance, mystery, fantasy and YA fiction.

Blev positivt överraskad, trodde det skulle vara mer åt romance-hållet men blev snabbt ett mordmysterium! Mysig bok men med ett slut som jag listade ut rätt snabbt, även om jag blev lite osäker ett tag där i mitten.
