This mostly just made me ask: why? Again, bad artwork. I really wish there had been a consistent artist and story. The characters are really all over the place for the...extras.
I'm extremely disappointed by the artwork in this novel. The story between nightmare and alice seems to pick up in the middle of the relationship unlike the others which slowly build up. This entire novel just seems rushed.
Weird but curious. This book is filled with short adventures of a teenaged girl and her new friends. Relationships between characters are reinforced and the rules of "the game" are still mysterious. How or when will Alice be able to go home?
Although I throughly enjoyed the books, there are still many questions that were not fully explained. Maybe they were meant to be unexplained. Though I wanted to know more about the rules, who White Rabbit really was, what would happened if she remembered, and many more. After reading the books, I found that this series is also accompanied by games. Perhaps the game series explains more.
Also the ending was half expected for a story based on Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, by keeping within the themes of dreams. But I would have also been curious and surprised if we got to see a reuniting of the sister and seeing how she acts with the people who are similar in Wonderland.

I really enjoyed this manga. All of the character's had their own personality and it was exciting to explore the world of Wonderland.
Ugh, she chose the Hatter with whom she's always sparring just like in Country of Joker. Or did she? I liked that the last chapter was open-ended. And what's the deal with her sister being randomly dead? Just an excuse for her to stay in Wonderland I guess. I'm glad I read this series, because it introduced me to otome games...and to Julius. I'm sure I'll enjoy the Clockmaker spinoffs more as I am a hardcore Alice/Julius shipper.
Really 3.5
The art has some serious problems in this volume, it looks like it was rushed and they just inked the sketches. A real letdown, since the art is a main part of why I like this series.
Nightmare only gets about half a volume to woo Alice. It has action, romance and a lot of fun, I just wished we'd gotten a whole volume's worth of it. The rest of the volume is a couple of short stories with other characters that are more fun side trips than actual stories.
