This is a brand new publsihed author. Mikey is not sure what he wants to do with his life but he knows what he wants in a man. He and his BFF Nick work serving parties in skimpy outfits when he meets Stirling. Stirling is overwhemed with work and an ongoing trial regarding his mother's death and reluctant to go out with Mikey at first. He has never been a Daddy and isn't sure it's what he wants. This was a good first book with some light kink.

I have mixed feelings on this book, theres a bunch of parts i adored and a lot i didn't. Although i still enjoyed the overall story.
The characters definitely carry the book, i adored and connected with both of them so much for different reasons. Very real flawed mcs and i loved seeing the alternating povs for each of them.
It was amazing to see the growth in them throughout as they gain confidence and find comfort in each other. So sweet and satisfying to see them finally breakaway from their pasts, standing up for themselves and getting the last word.
When it comes to the daddy/boy aspect i found it rather refreshing, the look at the exchange of care and control in the relationship. How each relationship is different and find the balance, what works for them. I quite liked that it was light, seemed fitting to Mikey and Stirling who is new to the scene.
In terms of kink its sweet too. Mainly seen at the start and end, but it was a lot of fun and made for some interesting scenes.
Now the amount of cliches and random drama here was little much for me, i will admit to suspending my disbelief a lot in the second half. Either Mikey and Stirling are cursed with bad luck or something else is up.
Theres an alcoholic ex, a cheating ex, tragedy in their pasts with parents and present involving court case. Not forgetting the misunderstandings and just strange situations for drama, like Brian and Richard.
So yeah i do wish there had been more focus on the romance, progress in relationship and the daddy/boy aspect. Although there is a lovely epilogue that looks at their future together which was beautiful!
Overall i found this an entertaining read with two incredible mcs that i fell in love with, along with a stunning side cast. I can't wait to read Nick and Steels story next

4.5* of Daddy sexiness
For a first novel I am very impressed, this is a great story to not only kick off a series, but also a career that I will watch avidly.
The characters development is really well done over the course of the book, Stirling found the person that enables him to open up and go for what he really wanted/needed. Mikey found confidence not to be ashamed of what makes him happy. The heat between the pair is evident without being over the top, the kink is light and exploratory as Stirling is a.first time Daddy finding how their relationship works for them. I can't wait for Nick and Steel's book.

When a Daddy finds his boy, he holds on tight.
The first of what promises to be an amazing series, this book introduces us to a group of friends who not only share a history but also the fact that they are Daddy’s. We are given background information on characters who I presume will be in future books as well as our two starring characters, Mikey & Stirling. Both out of bad relationships in the recent past, they each bear some scars as well as reservations on starting a new relationship but as Cupid’s arrow does, the first encounter with each other set the course for what would turn out to be their happily ever after. This book has such a beautiful storyline that includes misunderstandings, reconnections, humor, as well as sexy times. Although the Daddy/boy relationship was mentioned and used throughout the book, even those who are not usually inclined to read this trope will enjoy it. I am looking forward to reading the rest of the series. This review is an honest and unbiased reflection of my thoughts after reading an advanced readers copy of the book.

Mikey is that boy who stirs something in Stirling. He feels the need to protect, dominate. No doubt, Mikey is younger than he's used to but don't underestimate him. He could have Stirling becoming the hot Daddy of his dreams.
Now if only Stirling sees his natural dominance as a positive. Watching these two come together page after page, was a treat for the senses.
Really enjoyed the first installment of the 99 Daddies series.
If you like low angst, loving daddies, then this is a good one. I don't often come across books about first time daddies. Usually they are established and waiting for the perfect boy.
Can't wait to see what becomes of the other characters in upcoming editions.
**I received this ARC via Gay Romance Reviews for my honest feedback.**

I found this to be a cute Daddy book. Mickey is a mid 20's guy trying to figure out his life. He is a little too hyper and spacey. He has the whole "boy" personality which adds to his adorableness. Stirling is the older guy that isn't aware that he is a "Daddy". He thinks of himself as different from his friends who are daddies. Mickey & Stirling's meet cuteness really interesting. It wasn't your typical cafe/bar/library meeting, which was great. As we get to know both of these characters and the circumstances that shaped who they sre, we slowly start to live them. They have their ups and downs. They both have to try to navigate the daddy/Boy dynamic, since Stirling is new to the scene and not totally sure what to do.
While this book didn't have much daddy/boy scenes like I prefer, I still enjoyed it.
