I wish I could rate this higher because I loved the first book in the series, Strange Love, but this one didn't live up to my expectations. 

It was slow and not very exciting to me. I think that the author maybe went a little too far with the AI robotic language because the whole thing came across as so stilted. Or maybe there was just too much telling and not enough showing with the writing style. 

Overall, it is a sweet story, and I was glad to see Helix get a happy ending along with a little cameo from the characters from the first book towards the end.
