Omg... I just love Kody he might be my favorite Maxwell brother. This is the fifth book in the series by they can all be read as standalones. My heart went out to Kody he is a really great guy but badly damaged after lots of loss the chemistry between him and Jessie was really strong but will it be enough to get him past his fears this was a great read and I really liked it

When you have already gone through a devastating loss of someone you thought you were going to spend the rest of your life with, finding someone new is never important. But when Kody Maxwell comes across a crying nurse in the cafeteria of the hospital his life is forever changed. Will a new relationship built around strong feelings and the love of music be able to set his future in the music world or will the reason she is crying and the people from the past get in the way? With beautiful honest characters and a storyline that takes the reader on an emotional journey, this book is a must read. The Maxwell Family is a series I have always enjoyed and once again, S.B. Alexander does not disappoint.

The perfect end to a beautiful series. Reader’s have watched Lacey and Kade’s journey from high school and the start of college, but now Lacey is graduating. Although her PTSD has been managed, her panic attacks start when her past comes back to haunt her. At the same time Kade has his own crisis to deal with. But through it all the two lean on each other and make it to their HEA. I absolutely loved these characters and the story was a great ending, but I am also sad to see this series end.

there is nothing like a Maxwell brothers book. i wasn’t sure how much i’d like Kody and what his story held, but as usual Susan didn’t let me down. the story of Kody and Jessie held all the components that i expected from a Maxwell brothers book- love, family, and intense chemistry. there wasn’t a piece i didn’t enjoy even when things didn’t go “as planned” for these characters. if you enjoyed the first books in this series, this one will be a wild ride and you’ll enjoy every second.
