This volume really went off with the reveals and intense interrogation of self. It feels like this volume is a transition into the unraveling of the greater mysteries and conflicts taking place beyond the fully self related ones of previous volumes. Now we turn to the world at large and see that Kowloon is in fact a ruined city, but those within it perceive it as real, even though they aren't. So first off, let's start with Miyuki, who is in conflict with his father, that forced him to destroy the previous Kowloon to hide his birth records. His father is currently working to expose something about the city, while Miyuki is seeking to get vengeance against him. We learn that Kujirai isn't a clone or copy, but a Generic (whatever that is). Only some people can see her and for those outside the city, she doesn't exist at all. Kujirai B apparently killed herself, but we don't really know more than that. The love story side of things between Kujirai and Kudou takes a turn of confession, but still Kujirai has to fight against the memories Kudou has of who she looks like. With so much going on, I'm super excited for the next volume. This is one of those series that if I had all the volumes, I would fly through it.

Ok, I’m starting to sour on this series a little because good lord nothing really happened at all in this volume
