3.5 stars. Interesting SF/mystery involving the earth's rotation ceasing and corrupt government officials. I hope there's a sequel.

A great idea not so well executed. This took too long to actually get to the point of what was behind the story, and when it did get there, rushed full on to an unsatisfying ending. I understand that this is a first novel, but too much of it was by the numbers.

A well written, enjoyable mystery thriller.

Not what I expected, in a good way. I expected yet another dystopian story hung on the hook of ‘the world stopped rotating’. Instead, the world stopped rotating is simply the backdrop to a rather good mystery thriller, which I enjoyed tremendously.

Encounters with passing dwarf stars are not high on my list of apocalyptic worries but this fast-paced thriller effectively explores the impact of a climatological disaster on human civilisation.

Very fun read. Would be tempted to say it takes a negative view in 2020 of how britain would handle a refugee crisis but things are currently not looking priti- i mean pretty. Was absolutely on the edge of my seat til the last page.

Fascinating storyline, when the world stops still - I’d love to see this as a film!

I like the characters and the world it was set in. But you spend a long time not really know what the characters are trying to find or why they're doing it. The ending felt rushed. It was alright though.
