An absolutely amazing book. I already knew how it would end but the journey to get there was breathtaking. This book made me smile, laugh out loud and made me feel sad. The story is set mostly in Dublin, and is about Christine who witnesses a stranger she met shoot himself and then decides to walk away from a marriage that is barely 1yr old. And then she meets Adam and the journey begins from there. The story is about family, truth, and a lot of love.
I loved every second of the book and was sad when it came to an end. It is such a great book to relax to on a warm day. I believe it will be a hit for summer. Such excellent story telling from Cecelia Ahern. I believe I am now a fan.

Not sure why this didn't appeal to me as much as her other books - maybe it's because there are too many loose ends

Lovely lovely book! I really like Ahern's books, and this wasn't an exception. It's about a man who wants to kill himself and a woman who wants to rescue him and show him how to enjoy life and get his girlfriend back. The woman is not too well herself either and it turns out to be a learning experience for her too. Warm and wise book - and I might try these things myself too. Really recommend to those who love romance in good books.

cliche, shallow, makes a mockery of mental illness... don't waste your time.

How To Review A Cecilia Ahern Novel.
I'm feeling... happy.
I'm feeling...lovey-dovey.
I'm feeling...like I have butterflies in my stomach.
I'm feeling like I want to read every single book ever written by this beautiful Irish woman!

My favorite book of all time. I was lucky enough to stumble upon this book on a free bookshelf. 2018 in Ireland. I never knew that this book would genuinely change my life. It tackles so many challenging subjects such as grief and suicide. These two were very well-spoken. I love the title of this book. Not only do they not focus heavily on falling in love and that is on every page but they also spoke about their own challenges. The title of the book is a direct reference to all of the books Christine actually reads in the book itself. Adam is a wild character and his mental health is a very well tackled subject. Christine really cares about him.
It is a great breath of fresh air when a book about love doesn't include love in every chapter and is only spoken about massively until the middle/ end of this book.
This was my first 'adult' book and it really paved the way for such great books to come. Ahern is an amazing author.

A touching, romantic, tender story. It was realistic in some ways and also involves an unfortunately common and sensitive topic.
Typically but wonderfully, heartwarmingly chick-lit, with a great structure of plot and subplots, along with some very thought-provoking words and events, this book was a highly enjoyable, captivating, and lovable read for me. Officially added to my favourites!
