The Psychopath

The power dynamics in these stories are so at odds. When I start reading I'm like how is this even going happen! If course there are ways, in romance, there always is. Watching them get there is the satisfying thing.

I loved this book. Quinn and Zane were hot from the start. Their chemistry was off the charts. I couldn't wait to see where their relationship went. Some of the book was a bit predictable but that didn't make it any less good. The only thing I wish we had gotten was at least an 'I love you'. It ends with a HEA but I would've liked the words to be there.

Better than the first in the series in a way. Strong build-up and a good conclusion. Good plot overall. It can be read as a stand-alone and has nothing to do with the first book in the series.

This was an intriguing read. The story centers on Quinn, a psychologist conducting a study on psychopaths with seven prison inmates. One of them is Zane—charming, flirty, and completely maddening. At first, Quinn is understandably terrified of him, but as their sessions progress, Zane begins to work his way under Quinn’s skin… and into his fantasies.

I went into this expecting a much darker story, but quickly realized it wasn't.

Though it’s a short story, it’s captivating and well-paced, with just the right mix of psychology and romance to keep you hooked. If you’re in the mood for something quick, compelling, and a little bit different, this one is worth checking out.

Wild from start to finish!

Ya’ll I did not see the ending coming. Heck I didn’t see a lot of things coming in this book lol and I loved every moment. Zane draws you in the same way that he draws in Quinn subtle and then like a freight train and then subtly again until you’re under his spell. I can’t wait for book 3!
