This was a story fun read by Tolkien. My girls first introduction so far. I really loved reading this one aloud. The way it was written was so pleasant to read and the story was fun! One we will enjoy again I'm sure!

A small but wonderful little tale about an everyman with remarkable courage that steps up to save his home from trolls and dragons, but ends up with a lot more than he ever dreamed.

From my children:

“This is a unique book including dogs, farmers, kings, knights, swords, and best of all, dragons! “

“It’s a good combination of adventures, knights, and comedy. It’s really funny! I can definitely see elements of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Ring, in it!”
